This award recognises regional restaurants that create seafood dishes to reflect the quality and seasonal availability of the finest Australian seafood. The Award is open to all regional NSW Seafood Restaurants that purchase seafood through a Sydney Fish Market wholesaler, Sydney Fish Market auction or direct sales. A nominated restaurant must feature seafood in at least 50% of its menu. This Award is self nominated. Anonymous visit by an independent food critic to each finalist will occur.
All submissions for this award must include a nomination form and a report that outlines your case against each judging criteria.

Menu – Originality/Variety of Seafood – 10
Meals – Quality of Produce/Presentation/Taste - 15
Service and Seafood Knowledge of Staff - 15
Compliance with Fish Name Standard - 10
Total - 50

Nominations close
One nomination form and four hard copies of each written report must be received by 9am Monday, 2 February 2009. It is suggested that additional supportng material such as photos, reports, marketing material or any other relevant supporting documentation that you see fit to complement your claim against the judging criteria be included in your submission.
